Background – Swapnoshilon (Pursuit of Prosperity) is a social development organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities across Bangladesh. With a name meaning “one who cherishes a dream,” the organization transforms aspirations into sustainable prosperity.
Context of establishment – Founded in response to persistent poverty, limited financial inclusion, and lack of livelihood resilience in rural & semi-urban areas, Swapnoshilon bridges capability gaps through education, climate action, and women’s economic empowerment.

Founding year: 2016 (established as a volunteer collective; official registration).

Media recognition: April 10, 2026 — SAHOSHIKA 4.0 award ceremony featured on Channel i, Asian TV, Ekattor TV. Social Welfare Minister acknowledged gender disparities in credit access, validating Swapnoshilon's advocacy.
After participating in SAHOSHIKA 3.0, Rina started a homestead-based organic spice business. With mentorship and a small seed grant, she now supplies to three district markets, employs two other women, and has created a community savings group. Her success inspired 15 additional women to join the program in 2026.
Future Outlook: Swapnoshilon aims to scale SAHOSHIKA 5.0 with a digital savings platform, expand ABH scholarship to 10+ districts, formalize climate-adaptive public works as a flagship, and launch a youth leadership fellowship (“Be a Changemaker!”).
