SAHOSHIKA 4.0 the flagship initiative and prestigious Award dedicated to recognizing, celebrating and empowering women entrepreneurs of Bangladesh is scheduled to be held on 8 March. It is more than just an award ceremony—it brings together business leaders, policymakers, investors, media, and aspiring women entrepreneurs under a single platform. Sahoshika is the country’s premier event dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs, celebrated annually on March 8 in recognition of International Women’s Day. Since its inception in 2020, Sahoshika has brought together influential women personalities, experts from diverse fields, and aspiring entrepreneurs, creating a vibrant platform for inspiration and growth. The event features a colorful reception, rally, gift distribution, open discussions, workshops, success stories, quiz competitions, and award ceremonies, all designed to celebrate and uplift women in business.
This signature initiative is a collaboration between Shopnoshilon, Career Care, Women and E-commerce Trust (WE) Bangladesh, and PUM Netherlands, focused on breaking down barriers to women’s entrepreneurship. Sahoshika empowers women by helping them craft effective business plans, gain access to financing, and learn key skills in digital marketing and e-commerce. This initiative accelerates their journey toward sustainable business growth, fostering a more inclusive and dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem for women across Bangladesh.
